STATE COLLEGE/CENTRE COUNTY, Pa — Stover’s Furniture in State College will be closing up shop after nearly 50 years in business...but the store’s owner says he’s not retiring.
Gary Stover, known by many locals as ‘Crazy Jake,’ is leaving furniture behind...but he’s not quite done with tables.
“It’s going to be hard but...I’m going to become a professional gambler,” he stated.

The companies have spent billions of dollars in online American advertising with social media companies such as Meta, parent of Facebook and Instagram, and Google. STATE COLLEGE - Employees and others confirmed the possible closing of Ye Olde College Diner in State College.
The owner wasn't available for comment, but employees speculate the closing date could be sometime in April.
The diner has been a staple of downtown and West College Avenue since 1929.
It's famous for its grilled stickies, but was also well-known for giving out Thanksgiving dinners for 50 cents until last year. Read More...
