Clearfield, PA — Dr. Mahrdad Ghaffari, head of Pulmonology at UPMC Altoona, said the burning wildfires in Canada are becoming a hazard to our air quality.
"These are very fine particles, carbon monoxide, nitrogen that come to our area and that can be dangerous for people who already have lung diseases," he said.

GRAMPIAN, Pa. (WJAC) — A fire broke out Tuesday night at a grocery store in Clearfield County.
According to officials, it happened at Holts Grocery in Grampian Borough around 8:30 p.m.
Almost a dozen crews were called to help fight the flames.
Officials say there was a partial collapse in the back of the building.

JOHNSTOWN - The Flood City Music Festival kicks off Thursday night at Peoples Natural Gas Park in downtown. Grace Potter is the headline performer for the event. She will perform from 8 to 9:30 p.m.
