Attorneys working in rural parts of the state say they have their work cut out for them. Vacant positions showing up for those who are retiring. Each attorney in select counties, sometimes dealing with dozens to even hundreds of active cases at any given time. They say they would like to see more positions in their areas be filled soon.

JOHNSTOWN - American Eagle Screen Print and Embroidery donated 500 bracelets to the Johnstown Police Department on Monday in hopes of making a better community.
Officers were provided with the bracelets to put in their police cruisers and hand out to children, teens and adults within the city.
βIt takes that barrier down of what a police car does, along with the badge,β said Johnstown police Sgt. Joe Eckenrod.

CENTRE CO, Pa (WJAC) β UPDATE:
Centre County Deputy Coroner Judy Pleskonko has identified the victim of Friday night's fatal hit-and-run crash along Penns Valley Road (Route 45), according to a news release.
Pleskonko identified the victim as 23-year-old John David King of Penn Township, the release states.
Officials say King was operating a non-motorized scooter along the roadway when he was stuck by a vehicle.
Following an autopsy, Pleskonko says the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. Read More...
