1 injured, tractor trailer destroyed in rollover crash on I-99

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — One person was injured Monday when a tractor trailer crashed in Bedford County, dispatchers say. Officials say the truck was heading southbound on Interstate 99 with junked cars when it went over the guiderail and down an embankment. It came to rest in the northbound lane about one mile from the Route 56 Exit. Officials say the truck was destroyed and a lane was closed for a while for cleanup. Read More...

Breezewood man faces multiple charges after police find meth and handgun in traffic stop

A 38-year-old Breezewood man has been charged in Altoona, after police allegedly found methamphetamine and a handgun during a traffic stop. According to a probable-cause affidavit, state police found about 10 ounces of meth and a loaded pistol in Brandon Hampton’s vehicle Tuesday in Altoona. A large amount of plastic baggies was also found in the vehicle, according to the affidavit. Hampton is a felon and is not supposed to possess a gun, according to the affidavit. Read More...
