Authorities give update on skeletal remains found in Bedford County

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Bedford County authorities have identified the human remains found in October. The Bedford County Coroner's Office said the remains belonged to Robert Cochran, 47, of Canajoharie, New York. Cochran's remains were found by a hunter and his son in a wooded area above the Mile Level Farm Market and Greenhouses off of Lincoln Highway and were taken to Mercyhurst University to analyzed by a forensic team. Duffy's pinch-hit lifts Cubs over Pirates 3-2

CHICAGO (AP) — Pinch-hitter Matt Duffy had a go-ahead single in the seventh inning, reliever Keegan Thompson pitched three scoreless innings for his first major league victory and the Chicago Cubs beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 3-2 for their fifth straight win. Willson Contreras and Eric Sogard each drove in a run for Chicago, which has won seven of nine to improve to 17-16. Penn State's Barkley impresses in winter workout

STATE COLLEGE---Penn State running back Saquon Barkley set freshman records this past season for the Nittany Lions. He didn't disappoint in Wednesday's final winter workout. Barkley tied a team record by squatting 500 lbs., seven times. He also bench-pressed 390 lbs. and ran a 4.38 second forty-yard dash. "This kid is for real," Penn State Director Of Performance Enhancement Dwight Galt said after the workout. The Nittany Lions open spring practice Friday March 18. Read More...
