Johnstown Bottleworks holds winter arts camp

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Christmas break can be an exciting time for many families. But sometimes there isn't much to do for the kids when school is still on break and the parents head back to work. In Cambria County, the Bottleworks is giving families an option with their winter arts camp. The camp began Thursday and wraps up Friday afternoon. Johnstown Galleria Roller Rink Opens

Cambria County, PA — Like many businesses before, a roller-skating rink is now open at the galleria mall. Some locals say they’re skeptical of its longevity, while others continue to show their appreciation. The mall’s owner Leo Karruli says he is happy that this project is finally finished. He also notes other businesses besides the Rink, that are now open, as well. This includes a beauty store near JCPenny's. Northwestern University grapples with funding scrutiny in congressional hearing

WASHINGTON (TND) — Northwestern University was in the hot seat this week as President Michael Schill came before the U.S. House Committee on Education. These universities are not only heavily subsidized by taxpayers but also by foreign entities and governments. Open the Books CEO Adam Andrzejewski joined The National Desk’s Angela Brown to break it down. “They're heavily funded by taxpayers so we broke the story this week.
