(WJAC) — Starting Friday, March 8, and running through March 13, FineWineAndGoodSpirits.com will be offering free shipping for all online purchases of Irish whiskey to any of their stores, according to a release. Man killed by US marshals near WVU was wanted for shooting Virginia officer

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (WJAC) — Authorities have identified the man killed by a U.S. Marshals Service officer near West Virginia University. According to NBC affiliate WSAZ, 25-year-old Donquale Gray was wanted by federal authorities for allegedly shooting and wounding an officer in Virginia. Virginia State Police issued a wanted person alert in mid-February asking for the public's help in locating Gray after a Bluefield officer was shot during a traffic stop. Read More...

Pirates open up PNC Park in 2001

JOHNSTOWN — COVID-19 has forced Major League Baseball to postpone its 2020 regular season. The latest WJAC-TV 6 Sports Stories segment features the opening of a new home for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 2001, the Pirates left Three Rivers Stadium, and moved into PNC Park. Before the regular season started, the Pirates hosted the New York Mets in an exhibition game.
