Juniata Gap Elementary hosts 25th annual 'Day of the Arts'

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — A lot of fun was had at Juniata Gap Elementary School on Thursday as students participated in a variety of hands-on activities for the 25th annual "Day of the Arts." This year, 25 local artists and performers donated their time to present workshops to students in kindergarten through 5th grade. PAGC shortens October bear season; announces increase in available deer licenses

During Saturday's meeting, the Pennsylvania Game Commission adopted several changes for the upcoming hunting and trapping seasons. Among the changes is the shortening of the October muzzleloader season for black bear by three days. The Game Commission also announced a slight increase of antlerless deer licenses available this year, with 1,186,000 licenses being allocated statewide. Reynoldsville man killed after running intersection, colliding with tractor-trailer in Bradford Town

Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — State police in Clearfield County say a 19-year-old Reynoldsville man was killed earlier this week in a fiery, two-vehicle crash in Bradford Township. Investigators say Derraick Burkett was reportedly traveling southbound on Shiloh Road, near the intersection of Route 322, when he failed to stop at the flashing red signal and collided with a tractor-trailer.
