BLACKLICK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WJAC) — UPDATE: Authorities say Route 271 in Blacklick Township has reopened to all traffic. ORIGINAL STORY: A Wednesday morning crash has shut down all lanes of Route 271 in Blacklick Township. According to PennDOT, the crash happened sometime around 6:45 a.m. Lanes in both directions are closed between Plank Road and Expedite Road. Fireworks allowed until 1 a.m. this weekend, according to Pennsylvania state law

Although the Fourth of July fireworks are over, firework celebrations this summer are not! Earlier this week, 6 News spoke with Officer Sean Kisel with the Richland Township Police Department who says according to state law - fireworks can be set off until 1 a.m. this weekend. “We just follow with state statute as to the fireworks laws,” said Officer Kisel.
