Elk County, PA (WJAC) — The annual Chainsaw Carvers Rendezvous kicked off Wednesday in Ridgway.
The event runs through Sunday afternoon.
Organizers say 90 carvers, from countries around the world, will be making elaborate pieces out of wood for visitors to enjoy.
In addition to live carvings, there are craft vendors, food booths, wineries, and breweries, as well as music.

SOMERSET - Passavant Memorial Homes recently assumed operations of the Bedford-Somerset Developmental and Behavioral Health Services residential program, which includes eight community homes and 19 individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Passavant Memorial Homes was selected as the provider of choice in May from a slate of qualified agencies, and officially transitioned the consumers on Oct.1.
The transition was successful due to the collaborative efforts of Passavant Memorial Homes and Bedford-Somerset DBHS. PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Thieves may not have been counting on finding a mountain of change when they broke into a truck filled with $750,000 in dimes, but they still made off with a chunk of the cargo and left coins scattered around a Philadelphia parking lot, authorities said.
