According to the Federal Aviation Administration, John Burley was flying his 2 seater aircraft from Erie over forest county, on Friday, when it crashed into the Allegheny National Forest at around 88 knots, or 100 miles per hour.
The National Transportation Safety Board (N.T.S.B.) Is investigating the accident.
