While observing Ash Wednesday and Friday's during lent, people refrain from eating meat which is why local churches hold fish fries during the season. Penn State Police investigating reported sexual assault at East Halls dormitory

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa (WJAC) — Penn State University Police are investigating a reported sexual assault that occurred over the weekend at the East Halls residence complex, according to a campus-wide timely warning. Authorities say the assault occurred early Saturday morning, between 3 and 3:30 a.m., by a known male. Penn State suspends fraternity for 4 years following investigation into hazing allegations

University Park, PA (WJAC) — Penn State announced Tuesday that it has suspended the Delta Theta chapter of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity following an investigation into hazing allegations. University officials say the fraternity was placed on interim suspension in August and following the conclusion of the investigation, the fraternity has been suspended through the fall of 2027.
